An engaging Wildlife Educator will tell fun facts and funny stories about the amazing animals we can find right in our own backyards. Featured animals may include an eastern rat snake, box turtle, snapping turtle, and other amazing native species. Cascades Library will be the first up in our wildly exciting Loudoun County Summer Library Series! The 2017 Summer Reading theme is “Build a Better World”. Reptiles Alive will be presenting our Backyards Alive show where we will uncover the secrets of the reptiles and amphibians living in your own backyard! Come cool off in the library for this free summer event! Featured animals may include an eastern rat snake, box turtle, snapping turtle, and other amazing native species. The Summer is heating up and it is time for another Repitles Alive show as part of the D.C. Public Library Summer Reading Series.  Ssssslither on over to the Lamond-Riggs Neighborhood Library in NE DC for a FREE live animal show feature 6 exotic animals from all across the world.  You will meet snakes, lizards, a frog or toad, a baby alligator, and a big boa constrictor.  Make sure to ssssstick around to ask questions and check out a book on one of the animals you met during the show.  Check out our Kids Page before the show for great reptile themed activities.
